Michael Harden worked in restaurants in various parts of the world for 15 years to support his writing habit and now spends much of his time writing about restaurants and bars. He is Melbourne editor and restaurant critic for Australian Gourmet Traveller, bar reviewer for The Age and is a regular contributor to a number of other local and international publications. He’s written 15 books, is currently working on a PhD researching the rise of the celebrity chef and has recently started a copywriting and editing company called Dubecki + Harden.
